150-Point Inspection: What We Actually Check

"150-point inspection" sounds like marketing shorthand until you see the checklist itself. It is organised into a handful of systems, each with its own set of pass/fail criteria — and a car does not reach the floor until every one of them is signed off.
Mechanical and structural
Engine compression, transmission shift quality, cooling system integrity, and suspension geometry are checked first, since a fault here is the most expensive to miss. The body is inspected panel by panel for repaint, filler, or misaligned gaps — the tell-tale signs of prior accident repair that a fresh coat of paint can hide from a casual look.
Electronics and comfort systems
Every switch, sensor, and infotainment feature is tested individually — air conditioning, power seats, ADAS cameras where fitted, and the electronics that are expensive to fix and easy to overlook on a test drive. A luxury car's value is as much in these systems working quietly as in the engine under the bonnet.
The paper trail
Alongside the physical inspection, we verify service records, ownership transfer history, and outstanding loan or hypothecation status. A car can pass every mechanical check and still carry a paperwork problem that only surfaces at the RTO — which is why this step is never skipped.
